Middle Eastern/Arabic Cultural Graduation Celebration

2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Campus Center, Ballroom A

The University of La Verne’s Middle Eastern/Arabic Cultural Graduation Celebration complements the main commencement in that it specifically acknowledges and celebrates Middle Eastern/Arabic graduates and their families within a cultural context. Graduates will be honored with music, speakers, certificate of achievement and are adorned with a culturally symbolic or multicultural sash.

The University of La Verne’s Middle Eastern/Arabic Cultural Graduation Celebration is for all University of La Verne spring 2016 graduates, including: traditional undergraduates, CAPA, graduate, professional and doctoral students.

• Cost for participation in the Middle Eastern/Arabic Cultural Graduation Celebration is $30 (please note there is a small online processing fee of $2.64)
• Cost includes a magnificent sash & certificate of achievement
• Guest seating is on a first-come/first-served basis
• Participants MUST wear their cap & gown at the Cultural Graduation Celebration*
• Participants will arrive for check-in at 2:00 pm in the Campus Center, Ballroom A
• Reception to follow celebration
